Welcome to Switzerland Travel Family! (EN)
We are a multicultural family living in Lucerne, Switzerland. I’m Aline, Brazilian born, lived in Vancouver and London before I came to Switzerland in 2008. My dream is taking my family for an adventure in the Amazon and do volunteer work.
I used to don’t read much about my destinations before travel. That was before taking the kids to the road, what needs some responsibility and care.
I start blogging after thinking about what I love to do in life!! I asked my self what I will do if I never had to work anymore? The answer was: I will dedicate my time to write about travel and travel =)
From this simple thought was born “Viagem Kids,” my very first blog for Portuguese speakers.
After some time, I realized that our family travel experiences were not only that much related to life in Latin America. So, I decided to write for expats like me, families and anyone interested in travel. Switzerland Travel Family was at the begin.
I’m happy to share our experience to make your family travel more relaxed and learn about your experience as well.
What I never could imagine before starts writing, was all strategies and details that are involved in a blog. Travel when you write a blog is definitely not the same as travel!
PS: Despite the fact that I still have to work, I decided to realize my dream, and I’m learning lots of new things. We are discovering so many places and a different Switzerland that we used to know, and also making new friends from all over the world, this is for us very special.
My husband Andreas is swiss, loves Scuba Diving and Martial Arts. His biggest dream is to fly to space. Our son Matteo, born in Lucerne in 2016, is trilingual (GE, SP, PT) and visit so far six countries. Martin and Alex are my stepchildren (Andreas kids) and sometimes are taking part as well of our adventures.
