About us

Welcome to Switzerland Travel Family! (EN)

We are Aline, Andreas, and Matteo, a Lucerne-based multicultural family. Our Blog was born to register our family travels, places that we explore in Switzerland, and to share how amazing this country is! To inspire travelers like us and give some useful tips about our experience. Switzerland Travel Family is a proud member of the “Schweizer-Familienblogs” or Swiss family blogs 🙂

Social engagement

An essential part of our mission and our family philosophy are social projects. We are interested in discovering education, social, and volunteer projects in Switzerland and abroad. We thing that donating our time and spreading attention to who’s need is the best way to give a better world to our kids.
Some of the projects that we took part as a volunteer are:
-Project 2x Weinachten (Swiss Post, Coop, and Rotes Kreuz) spend food and hygiene items for unprivileged people in Switzerland.
-Dance afternoon at Nursery Home “Urtenen Schönbühl” In Bern, bringing joy, dancing, spending time with seniors.
-Theater Gala Charity Night (Caritas Luzern, CSS Insurance) Total donations destinated to families with lower incomes in Switzerland. (2015/2016/2019)
-Donation of Pampers and baby items of clothing to families in Havana, Cuba.
-We are supporting the Swiss Children Cancer Association (Kinder-Krebs Liga) in Switzerland.
-Support the Association Stiftung Familie Luzern, disclosing and taking part in the Project «Familien Kochen», family cooking lessons for single-parent families.
