Our family weekend experience in the Swiss Alpine village Gstaad, located in Canton Bern, Switzerland. Gstaad is famous around the globe as a dream Swiss Alpine Village as it is! Traditional, elegant, despite the international glamour, Gstaad keeps her swiss identity! Here, in this region of Canton Bern called Saanenland, began part of the history of tourism in Switzerland back to the 18th century. Important is also the history of mountain railways, today more than 50 around the region! One of the most famous is the Glacier 3000, opened in 1960.
