The Swiss Knife Valley – Victorinox in Brunnen is a great tip if you are doing a boat trip or a day trip from Lucerne. The Victorinox Visitor Center is divided into the Swiss Army Knife Museum, Victorinox Brand Store, and an Interactive Exhibition.
One hundred thirty years of history of the brand founded by Karl Elsener in 1884, the curiosities about the most famous Swiss knife in the world, testimonials, and much more. Interesting to see how the Swiss knives save lives!

All kinds of Swiss knives are available here!! I bought a toy pocketknife for my son, which can be used in picnics, so cute!!! You can also find watches, perfumes, suitcases, and kitchen items. Insider tip: Victorinox produces one of the best kitchen knives in Switzerland!
Victorinox Visitor Center
On the 365 m² Visitor Center, you will find a shop with regional products, local hiking tips, Felchlin (Swiss Chocolate local producer) Swiss chocolate tasting, and a film about the Victorinox production.
Customize your Swiss Army Knife Victorinox
For adults and children from 8 years old, it is possible to customize your classic Spartan model pocketknife, developed by the brand creator, and personalize with your name. This 27-piece base model was patented in 1897! The children get it explains how to handle the knife safely, especially when opening and closing the blades. You need to schedule a timetable and cost CHF 35.-(includes engraving). Available in English, German, Italian, and French.

The visit takes approximately 1:30 m, which can be combined with a visit at the factory store of Chocolates Felchlin in Ibach, also in canton Schwyz. On the Victorinox website, you can find great tips for sightseeing around Brunnen, like hiking, City Tour in Brunnen, Urnersee cruise, and much more. Easy access by train (station Brunnen, Canton Schwyz), by car A4 Road towards Gothard/Schwyz, or by boat trip from Lucerne.
