We have been to Stoos, a car-free Swiss Alpine village, during a family event in the summertime and we had a great time! Two highlights are the steepest funicular in Switzerland -110% inclination, world record!! Second is the must-see view of the Fronalpstock (1.922 m A.S.L.).
How to get there
There are two ways to arrive at the Stoos Village, the funicular railroad from Schwyz (world record) or by cable car from Morschach. From there, two chair lifts can take you to Fronalpstock or Klingenstock.

Things to see and do

-Stoos-Seeli: water playground by the lake
-Fireplaces & picnic areas
-Husky experience (special for the event, otherwise in Muotathal village)
-Playgrounds at the Berghotel Restaurant Stoos Hüttä, Gasthaus Restaurant Balmberg, and Restaurant Sternegg
-Special playground at the Gipfelrestaurant & Hotel Fronalpstock
-Grill Swiss päckli: Two cervelats, Alpine Cheese, and Butterzofp for Fr.39.-
